Board training modules

Welcome to the board training modules, designed to equip senior executives and non-executive directors with the knowledge to integrate nature-related risks and opportunities into governance and strategy.

The four modules guide learners through:

  • The ‘Why’ – Module 1 – the foundational concepts of business and nature including financial implications and the need to act.
  • The ‘What’ – Modules 2-3 –  what current industry practice looks like and how organisations are responding.
  • The ‘How’ – Module 4 – practical exercises for learners to explore how their organisations can implement learnings.
Who are these materials for?

These materials are designed for trainers working with board members responsible for oversight and strategic governance.

  • Full delivery takes around four hours – trainers should tailor these materials based on the time they have available with the board.
