Session one: Further harmonisation of the sustainability reporting landscape Co-hosted by CDP, GRI, ISSB and TNFD Session one showcases the heightened collaboration, interoperability and alignment between global reporting initiatives. This discussion invited key regulators, standard-setters and framework bodies to discuss and highlight the interoperability and alignment between nature-related initiatives, in light of recent collaboration and other work. Hosted by Emily McKenzie Technical Director, TNFD Emily has significant experience on integrating nature in policy, finance, economics and decision-making. Prior to joining TNFD in November 2021, she led the analytical team that produced the global Dasgupta Review on the Economics of Biodiversity, based at the UK Economics and Finance Ministry. Emily was previously seconded to the Capitals Coalition where she helped develop the Natural Capital Protocol in its Technical Group. Emily worked for a decade in the WWF Global Science team, where she helped establish and lead the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University, helping decision-makers apply InVEST – leading ecosystem service modelling software. While at WWF, she supported The Coca Cola Company and Guggenheim Partners to consider dependencies and impacts on nature, and sustainability standards. She helped design the Environmental Land Management scheme in England – a major national agricultural subsidy reform programme – based at the UK Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Other previous roles included establishing environmental economics programmes at the Joint Nature Conservation Committee and the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow. She holds Masters degrees in International Policy from Stanford University and Economics at the University of Cambridge. Matthieu Delabie completed and enriched his training in 2016 with a certificate of advanced studies in environmental strategy at AgroParisTech and a dedicated training on Economic and financial instruments for climate and biodiversity organised by CIRAD. His early career was oriented towards finance: auditor at Ernst & Young 1996 to 1998, he was then deputy to the financial director of Scott Bader SA in Amiens, then business analyst at Scott Bader Limited Wollaston and financial director of the chemicals branch of British Petroleum in Wingles (Pas-de-Calais). “Parc du Marquenterre” / Baie de Somme” Nature Reserve. Dr. Sue Armstrong-Brown Global Director of Environmental Impact and Thought Leadership, CDP Elizabeth Seeger Member of the ISSB Board, ISSB Elizabeth Seeger was appointed as a full-time member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in July 2022, effective November 2022. Ms Seeger has over 20 years’ experience of standard-setting, investment and working on sustainability topics. She joined the ISSB from global investment firm KKR, where she served as Managing Director, Sustainable Investing, responsible for helping oversee the firm's consideration of sustainability matters throughout KKR’s investment process and part of KKR's Global Impact team. She also oversaw KKR’s public sustainability reporting efforts, including the development of SASB and TCFD-aligned reporting. Before joining KKR in 2009, she served as a project manager in the corporate partnerships programme (now known as EDF+Business) of Environmental Defence Fund and a consultant with the Corporate Executive Board (CEB, now known as Gartner), where she advised companies from a broad range of industries in Europe and the United States. Before CEB, Ms Seeger was an associate at the Environmental Law Institute, a non-profit organisation focused on environmental law and policy research and education. Ms Seeger served on the SASB Standards Board as an inaugural member but began her standard-setting work when becoming a member of the SASB Standards Council in 2012. She is a 2013 Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow and earned a BA in Environmental Studies with honours from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
