Deepki is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that provides a platform enabling Real Estate actors (real estate asset managers as well as occupiers) to collect ESG data, monitor their portfolio, get insight on their performance, report for the main ESG regulations and eventually take action to achieve the Net Zero objectives.

As part of the many ESG topics covered by Deepki’s advisory services, we developed biodiversity-centric indicators, based on open data. These indicators enable our clients to monitor both the current State of Nature and the pressures put on ecosystems. They include :

• proximity to protected areas
• ecological connectivity
• Biotope Area Factor, artificialization and vegetation health level
• light and noise pollution
• species extinction risk

Deepki’s approach of biodiversity and nature related topics is two-fold : 

• We provide our customers with TNFD-aligned indicators that can be used to report on some of the most important regulations on the topic, such as CSRD in the European Union and Biodiversity Net Gain in the United Kingdom.
• We help Real Estate actors to identify assets with a high potential for biodiversity or assets that represent a risk for biodiversity. This approach then enables real estate actors to prioritize assets and take relevant action to mitigate risk and increase biodiversity gain.
