Draft sector guidance – Aquaculture

The TNFD recognises that there can be significant differences across sectors for corporates applying the LEAP approach. It has published this additional guidance to help organisations with business models or value chains in the aquaculture sector apply the LEAP approach to their context. The aquaculture sector sits within the SASB Meat, poultry and dairy standard (FB-MP) and in this guidance is taken to cover the relevant sector activities.

This guidance is a supplement to the TNFD’s Guidance on assessment of nature-related issues – the LEAP approach and should be read in conjunction with that guidance.

This draft guidance also includes recommended sector disclosure metrics for the aquaculture sector, including guidance on the application of the TNFD core global disclosure metrics and core and additional sector disclosure indicators and metrics.
