It examines P&G’s water-related risks, opportunities and targets. Key outcomesP&G identified water as one of its key impacts and dependencies. It narrowed it focus to seven priority locations and identified that 96% of water withdrawals occur downstream. P&G used company and third-party modelled data to calculate estimated water consumption in priority basins. The outcomes from the assessment informed P&G’s water restoration targets, including localised targets in Mexico and the USA, given the high level of water withdrawals in these countries.
