The outputs from these phases informed Iberdrola’s target setting process. Key outcomesIberdrola considered Locate as an iterative process to identify their assets interface with nature and priority locations. Iberdrola identified their priority assets based on the state of nature at those locations and local impact data on species. The Corporate Environmental Footprint (CEF) allowed Iberdrola to quantify the impact of its activities on the environment. Outcomes from LEAP helped shape Iberdrola’s overarching targets: having a net positive impact on biodiversity by 2030 and becoming deforestation-free by 2025.
