This use case explains that process through the implementation of the LEAP assessment. Key outcomesMapping the dependencies and impacts at each location involved a combination of analysis using the ENCORE tool and propriety information. Three critical nature-related risks were identified in the short and long-term: water supply shortage, drought and extreme heat affecting the grape production and quality. In the case of the wine industry company, useful strategies and targets for the Prepare phase included exploring pesticide reduction strategies, implementing water conservation measures and considering the introduction of indigenous species for biodiversity enhancement.
