The 5th edition of the World Biodiversity Summit returns on October 26, 2024, at MUSEO – Museo La Tertulia, as part of a series of activities hosted by the World Climate Foundation in and around the Blue Zone at the pivotal COP16 in Cali, Colombia.
The event will bring together global leaders from government, business, finance and civil society to streamline and support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework while advancing the green economy and nature markets.
TNFD will be officially announcing and launching the blueprint of the Nature Data Public Facility during the opening session, “Nature for Growth: Unleashing the Power of the Bioeconomy by 2030,” at 9:20 – 10:05 COT.
In the session at 11:45 – 12:30 COT, Taskforce Member Hirotaka Hideshima, Counsellor on Global Strategy, Norinchukin Bank, will speak as part of the panel “Monitor, Assess and Disclose: Aligning Supply Chains with Global Biodiversity Targets”.
