The 4th annual edition of the World Biodiversity Summit returns on 26 September 2024 at SECOND in New York, alongside Climate Week NYC and the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, as a key international event on the roadmap to COP16 in Colombia in October. The programme is designed to facilitate tangible solutions, innovations and nature-positive investments by creating cross-sector partnerships and coalitions to catalyse action on biodiversity.
At the World Biodiversity Summit in New York, TNFD’s Executive Director Tony Goldner will be speaking as part of a panel, “From Risk to Reward: Turning Nature-Related Risks into Business Opportunities”, alongside Rhian-Mari Thomas OBE, Chief Executive at Green Finance Institute, Niki Mardas, Executive Director at Global Canopy, and William Mason, Director-General at Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
