IUCN Leaders Forum 2022
The IUCN Leaders Forum will be taking place in-person in Jeju, South Korea, from October 13-15. The key theme will be ‘Building nature-positive economies and societies’, and will aim to address the challenges of biodiversity for sustainable finance and the question: can the private sector help bring equilibrium to nature?
TNFD is a knowledge partner to this event, which is organised by IUCN in partnership with the Korean Ministry of Environment and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The Forum will gather over 500 influential leaders from government at national and local level, NGOs, Indigenous Peoples organisations and executives from finance and industry – including Tony Goldner, TNFD Executive Director, and Elizabeth Mrema, TNFD Co-Chair and Executive Secretary of United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.
