The Summit is designed to “accelerate collective action to drive investment in nature and strengthen activities to protect and repair our environment” by bringing together leaders from government, corporate sectors, research and environmental organisations and Indigenous Peoples to “explore effective ways to realise global commitments under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework”.
We invite Australian-based corporates and financial institutions to register as TNFD Adopters ahead of the Summit and be announced during a special event hosted by TNFD and our Consultation Group Convenor, Responsible Investment Association of Australasia
In collaboration with the RIAA, ASFI, BCSD Australia, we invite Australia-based organisations to commit to start making nature-related disclosures aligned with the TNFD recommendations ahead of the Global Nature Positive Summit 2024.

The Summit provides the backdrop for Australian Adopters to showcase their leadership and signal their intention to get started with the reporting of their nature-related issues aligned with the TNFD recommendations.
We will host a special event for Australian TNFD Adopters to celebrate the momentum made on nature-related corporate reporting.

There are currently over 400 TNFD Adopters globally, including 14 Australian organisations. Globally, TNFD Adopters represent over A$8.9 trillion in market capitalisation among publicly listed companies and A$23.7 trillion in assets under management among asset owners and asset managers who have already committed to adopting TNFD.
