2025 Status Report

The survey can take as little as 15-20 minutes to complete, but potentially longer, depending on familiarity with and knowledge of your organisation’s nature-related assessment and reporting. It is intended to be answered from an organisational perspective, and we request one submission per organisation.

Respondents are able to save their progress and revisit the survey at any time.

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday 1 August 2025. We strongly encourage early submissions.

The survey is designed to gather feedback and insights on the application and implementation of nature-related assessment and reporting from the market by both report preparers and report users. The survey should be answered from the perspective of report preparers, report users and market service providers.

We are particularly interested in responses from:

• Corporates (Publicly-listed companies and privately-owned businesses of all sizes)
• Asset owners and Asset managers
• Other financial institutions (including banks and insurers)
• Market service providers (including consultants, legal, accounting and other services firms)
• Data providers

It is designed to be answered by those directly involved in the assessment, strategy, reporting and/or disclosure of nature-related issues – including sustainability, risk, finance and compliance teams across corporates, financial institutions and service providers.

All responses will remain confidential and will only be reported in aggregated form. Insights from the survey will directly inform the TNFD’s understanding of market progress, regional differences, adoption barriers and opportunities for future improvement.

Results will be published in our 2025 Status Report set for release in September 2025.
